What does this word "Selah" mean?
In the Bible we see this word 'selah' noted on a number of occasions in the writings of the book of Psalms. It was a term used as a reminder to the musicians where a musical break or interlude in a song took place.
But when it is literally translated into the English language we see that it can also mean to 'pause.'
How often do we take the time to do that and intentionally press the pause button in our lives?
So often we don't seem to be able to take the time we need to meaningfully pause and reflect on how we are doing as a person and why we do the things we do.
This is why Selah Cymru came to exist as an organisation - because people really do matter and many people need to take time out and hit that pause button.
After years of witnessing people struggle in and out of the workplace, our founder and life coach Gavin Worrall initiated this step of setting up a safe place where people can stop, pause and seek to reflect on what they really need to support them in their lives.
Here at Selah Cymru we want to reach out, support, inspire and empower people in the challenges they are facing in their lives.

We will help to facilitate opportunities where people will be able to take time to develop their own unique tool or battle kit of how to deal with setbacks, face the battle with anxiety and rediscover motivation to fight back.

In the book of Proverbs the writer penned these words,
"Where there is no vision the people perish."
With the right support and guidance we want to support you in both the short and long term. We want you to be transformed in your thinking and renewed in your mind. As we journey together we will reflect together of ways where you can be enabled to dream bigger, think better and ultimately cast a brighter, better and ultimately healthy vision for your life.
Over the weeks we will reflect often upon the things that make you come alive and how these things can help effect change and bring purpose into facilitating a new way to really live and enjoy your life.
